REF: Ubuntu 12.04
Found a nice blog article on how to get GNOME Shell (via apt-get), but that's all it provided.
There was nothing on HOW to get GNOME Shell to work.
HOW do I switch to GNOME Shell :confused:

Select Gnome with the icon on the right side of the greeter box in the login screen.

THANKS =D>
IMHO I cannot see how anyone could like Unity. It is very difficult to find anything.
GNOME Classic is makes it much easier to find what I want.

Hey guys I'm struggling to have access to the Gnome shell, even though I change username and try to login with Gnome classic, it remains the same with the unity configuration. is there anything else I should install? Any help is welcome

If you have installed the Gnome Fallback Session , Classic should work. If you want the Gnome Shell install that as well.
