View Full Version : Guests on UbuntuOS Podcast.

For those of you who dont know what we do, we are a Ubuntu podcast, name kinda gives that away... anyways I have started this thread to give you guys the chance to suggest questions for our quests.

Part of the new format of the show, which is starting this week. Is that we alternate weeks between a Ubuntu Podcast (done by our friends on the paccific pod cast team, including the guy that runs the podcast Josh) and a Kubuntu Podcast which is this weeks.

So who have we got this week, well all being well later today we will be interviewing Jonathan Riddell if any of you guys can suggest what you want asked it may make the show :)

Mostly we intend to talk about how dapper went, the paris summit and whats comming in Edgy.

OK. The interview has been recorded.

Hopefully the podcast will be up for download soon.

Anyway, if anyone has any questions that you want us to ask future guests (we will pass on questions that are relevant to what that person does. We are unsure about any future guests) just post here.

Yea this thread will be used to post the next guest, ill post an actaul thread for this weeks post cast with a poll so people can give us specific feedback on it.

Thanks. It will be released shortly. The actual podcast has been recorded, and so has the interview. Now it just needs some post-production, and for this podcast I will be doing that (for the atlantic team, curuxz will normally be doing it, but this is the first week with this style). With some time zone clashes I haven't yet been able to get my hands on all the recordings (I have the interview, just not the rest of the podcast). Anyway, should be up very soon.

Thanks for the feedback on the site :). We will be moving to a new, and faster, server soon, have a new design, a new CMS and... no ads :). So along with the change in the style of the podcast comes a entire site re-design :).

Those having problems with the mp3 feed, that should be now fixed. There is one or 2 files that haven't been uploaded yet, but the most recent have been.

Thanks Zod, as I said there we were running on backups after the main system went down, it was a freak occurance that we did not have time to fix this week, but it is now resolved.

Hope people enjoyed the show.

I am a bit diasspointed at the voice quality of the podcast. IS it possible for the sound to be more clear? I like the qulaity of linux action show Podcast.

We were going to get a interview with Dana from the Ubuntu Studio Project, but we never managed to get one in (for this podcast that is).
