View Full Version : [SOLVED] auto-hide bottom panel using classic gnome ?

hello i am using ubuntu 12.04 with classic gnome desktop on my acer aspire 5536 laptop and i was wondering if i can auto-hide the bottom panel so as to give me a bigger page on chromium ?

Try Alt + right click or Super Key + Alt + right click in an open panel area. If the setting is still in Gnome 3 it is in panel properties.

thank you i logged in as gnome classic without effects and did alt and right click and did auto hide,all ok now.

If your not stuck on using classic gnome, you should give cinnamon a whirl. I personally like it a lot, it seems to be a little easier to use/find things with.
