Hey everyone,

I've tried to use wubi as well as a live CD (3 in fact), and all of them eventually give me the errno 5 about the Input/Output and how a hard drive/disk drive may be corrupt. This seems to happen to a lot of people and I've tried all the solutions I've found yet none of them work.

I've tried taking out some RAM, pressing certain buttons/changing options to no avail. I've never had a problem with my SSD (used to have an HDD but swapped it for an SSD). I have a Toshiba Satellite L755-S5308.

I can get into the try ubuntu part just fine and everything works there, but actually installing it from either ubuntu itself, or the boot installer doesn't seem to work. Any ideas? Thank you in advance.
