Update manager locking up updating linux kernal 3.2.0-27 in 12.04. On 7/23/12 I attempted installing 10 updates (52.6 MB) with Update Manager. The progress bar showed that "Applying Changes" was nearly complete when Update Manager apparently locked up. I'm unable to "cancel" or close update manager. Screen shots of the "Details" window are attached.
What should I do? Should I re-boot and try again? Should I run "apt-get update?"
