How can I get the kubuntu digital clock to display 24 hour time? I've tried system time settings and digital clock settings but I can't seem to find it...

Go into System Settings, Locale, Date & Time tab, change the drop-down Time format to HH:MM:SS, click Apply.

I did that, and thank you for the quick response. However my digital clock widget still shows AM/PM. Thank you!

Sorry to ask the obvious question but haved you logged out and back in again?

I'm not sure if you need to but I do occasionally see references to changes only taking place for newly started applications.

WOW you people are fast.. *facepalm* Logged out and back in, deleted the clock widget, then replaced it. Working just fine. Thank you!
