I wasn't exactly sure where to put such a topic.

But does anyone have a slick trick to hide an update of a plymouth theme? Im on Ubuntu 12.04 amd64 and installed KDE plasma workspace; which changes the plymouth to the newest Kubuntu Plymouth theme automatically-(a metallic looking kubuntu gear thing)- and well the thing is, i like the old Kubuntu blue theme: http://packages.ubuntu.com/oneiric/amd64/plymouth-theme-kubuntu-logo
Installing it on top the new one is easy work, im abit annoyed how update managers are constantly asking to update it back to the new version... so hiding it could be a good thing- perhaps?
Keeping updaters from bugging me at bootup, or even my accidental install of the newer theme.

Edit: Apologies, i should have waited ,longer before posting- i have figured it out, in Synaptic find the package and "Package -> lock version" or in Muon Package Manager, right click on package "lock version" and it stops bugging me.
