I'm running 12.04 (with unity) on an HP NX7400 laptop which has Intel GMA950 graphics.
I've been using this with no problems since ubuntu 10.10 , via 11.04, 11.10.
Problems have started since I updated to 12.04
Now when I turn the laptop on I get a "running in low graphics mode" screen. The first time it happened, having no idea what to do, I turned the machine off, and restarted. It was fine.
I'm a bit disgruntled. I expected 12.04 to give me a really stable and reliable system, (like 10.10 did) yet when I do a search this problem seems to affect quite a few different systems, with no clear common resolution.
Hope someone can help me sort this out, but I'll need clear instructions as I'm a newbie - at least as far as using the terminal is concerned.
