I want to install icewm.

I tried to install it:
apt-get install icewm
It installs, but it does not work.
There are three icewm options in the login screen and they are the same.
When I try to login on it, it does not work, the screen becomes entirely purple and nothing happens.
IceWM worked perfectly on Ubuntu 9.10.
And I am trying to use it on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS.
The computer is old and IceWM is fast. IceWM is the best of the minimalist desktops that I tried.
