Please, i really neeed help.

I try to run or install ubuntu. The system start normally, but it freezes quickly. Even the num lock key don't work and the mouse stays quiet. It happens even if i run the live cd or install it. I try with several versions of ubuntu (9.10, 11.04 or the last one) and the result is the same. I really need ubuntu to work, because it's an office pc and the people wich work with it don't like another linux disttro. By the way, if I install another linux distro (fedora or suse) it works fine, but I want ubuntu.

The pc is a intel celeron D 3.20 GHZ (64 bit supported) with 512 MB and VGA onboard.

What happens? Please, help me!

It may be due to the low memory. You may try the Text-based installation (http://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop/alternative-downloads)

But if i run the live cd it freezes. And low memory? I've already i've ubuntu installed ins a 256Mb system... But it's a possibility... Maybe I really need another distro if I cannot solve this

Find the solution here, thanks anyway, guys!
