Any suggestions on how to move ubuntu 12.04 notification from bottom to the top? I don't event know why they make it appear at the bottom.
Thanks.

Seems like you are talking about the notification bubbles specifically (not indicators and the like on the panel) - for non-Gnome Shell sessions, please see this guide:
http://www.tuxgarage.com/2011/06/tweaking-notify-osd.html
For Gnome Shell, you can use this extension, for the notification bubbles:
https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/243/shell-osd/
And if you are instead meaning the notification area in the bottom panel of Gnome Shell, you can use this extension to move it to the top panel:
https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/204/shell-notification-move/
Regards.

When you mean moving icons (like dropbox): https://github.com/rcmorano/gnome-shell-gnome2-notifications
This extension move all fixed icons (like dropbox) from notification area on to status bar.

How about Ubuntu One notification? My drop-box notification shows up in the status bar above but my Ubuntu One notification shows at the bottom.
