Choosing between Samsung 700Z5A (ATI Radeon HD 6750M), Samsung 550P5C (NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M), ASUS N56VZ (NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M).
What is better to take so you do not have problems under Ubuntu 12.04?

P.S. I know that laptops with integrated graphics is preferable.
P.P.S. Sorry fot my english..

I've always had problems with ATI GPUs, if u can, from my point of view, go for nvidia.

I've generally had no problems with Nvidia on my desktops or laptop, though for some reason my newest laptop isn't accepting the current Nvidia drivers.

What a model of your newest laptop?

I'd pick the ASUS because of the NVIDIA card and good experiences with ASUS products. Also it appears to have just the one adapter rather than using "Optimus" with both an Intel and an NVIDIA adapter. These newer hybrid laptops can be a pain in the neck to get working with Linux. For details, see the "Bumblebee (http://bumblebee-project.org/)" project.

My daughter's HP dv6t laptop has the same ATI 6750 card as the Samsung. I could only get it to work (http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=11244073&postcount=2) by upgrading the firmware and changing the BIOS to "fixed" graphics. However there have been rapid developments (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1930450) on the ATI side as well. I just don't follow them as closely.

It is a HP Pavillion dv7-7006tx. Also having odd wireless problems with it atm, but that's for (and on) another thread.

I got my ATI card to work just fine with proprietary drivers installed (dual monitors).

Also, AMD is supporting this card for Linux.

The NVidia 650M is supported on Linux.

Also, keep in mind that these are 64 bit drivers. I'm assuming you're getting 64 bit, as it's hard to find a laptop without at least 4 GB of RAM these days. It seems they are equally matched, so you could probably get either one.
I hope this helps.
