want to make my own new ubuntu distribution

im a final year B.tech Computer Science student...& im planning to make an ubuntu distribution for my final year project.....
sooo plz help me out...give me valuable information and knowledge that will be required in my project...

Maybe you should also tell us what you mean with "Ubuntu Distribution". Do you mean just plain Ubuntu 12.04 LTS with some other applications installed? Or would you like to switch DE? For example make an Ubuntu Distro which uses a customized Fluxbox or Openbox desktop?

Do you understand it really isn't clear what you want to do?
