Removing Files

Okay, so I have been looking and I just can not destroy this file off my desktop. I have tried alt+f2 then running gksudo and it won't trash it. I have tried sudo rm and it won't work. I have tried just mv it to somewhere else and it says it doesn't even exist. Please help

Could you post the output of:

ls -ld ~/Desktop/filename
Replace 'filename' with the name of the file you are trying to remove.

Could you post a screenshot?

(this is because it may not be a file but a dynamic mount).
