Hi, I am running Ubuntu Studio 12.04 and can autostart compiz via xfce4 settings manager.
The problem with this approach is that I am running both compiz and xfwm4 when I do this.
Just wondering whether anyone has been able to run just compiz window manager with xfce4?

Make the changes as described in the xfce4-session files and login using xfce4 desktop.
