If you go to http://cinnamon.linuxmint.com/
and choose "Download" then is says cinnamon is for
ubuntu 11.10
If you choose the cinnamon link, you get to
https://launchpad.net/~gwendal-lebihan-dev/+archive/cinnamon-stable

Now if you go to the packages overview it says
cinnamon 1.4.0-UP3-0ubuntu1~precise1

Q: Does that mean, that cinnamon as of may 23. 2012
if made for ubuntu 12.04?

Q2: Do you get the 1.4.0-UP3 if you use
ppa:gwendal-lebihan-dev/cinnamon-stable?

I find the cinnamon website confusing.

Will cinnamon become part of ubuntu software
center?

Thanks.

As your Precise Pangolin is going to let the PPA know it wants the version made for Precise Pangolin, the PPA will provide it.
