1st link helps burn a iso inage of windows (don't need it.
2nd .net is a part of the visual studio programming package (don't need it)
3rd should work all by itself...>>>download ubuntu.>>open burner >>click on downloads and double click on ubuntu>> isert disc >>follow prompts

One would hope not! The advice I recieved didn't include what was needed to make that software work or what my computer lacked, depending on how you look at it.

Fortunately, I managed to grab the person who originally recommended the burning software and he directed me to the right one of the latter list, which was appropriate.

Thank you for all of those links, everyone. The original title is now up and running but I have other problems to deal with now as well, which I'll try to address in another thread.

Installing Linux has certainly opened up a can of worms.
