I'm setting up a new 12.04 server and am so sick and tired of having to choose 'America/Chicago' as my time zone and having it displayed on my system. I'm in the Central Time Zone. This has been going on for years and needs to stop.

America/Chicago is NOT a time zone, much less my time zone. I have never been to Chicago, nor do I ever plan on going there. Even if I were there, I would still not be in the 'American/Chicago' time zone because it doesn't exist.

The United States spans 6 time zones, Eastern Time , Central Time, Mountain Time, Pacific Time, Hawaii Time and Alaska Time.
