Can you explain me what is the use of the greffon "indicators" which we can add to the dashboard, and how use it?

I've not used Kubuntu since 6.10, and I'm confused. What do you mean by "greffon indicators"? I ran a quick Google Search of my own, but all the results where in German, for some reason.

Indicators are nothing but Even Notifiers used for checking status of some Application/Event or device . I will give you a link which have good Ubuntu Indicators .

Notifiers will appear when an Even happen . you can consider the Notifier as a Alert System and Indicator as a Monitor .

Indicator are created to have quick access & actions on some specific most useful and general Applications & System tools.
