I decided to install xubuntu on my acer aspire one netbook, which has an intel atom z520 processor in it. After installing everything, when I turn on the computer, the screen starts off black, no light or anything. By pressing Ctrl F7, it brings up the login screen, however, half of the screen is "frozen." Two versions of the pointer appear, one above the other and depending on which pointer you use, you either see the top or bottom half of the screen. I've tried playing around with the GRUB menu, and that hasn't worked. Any ideas on how to fix it?
