Pease forgive me if this topic has been covered to death :). This is the first time I have used Ubuntu and I'm trying to install it on a new system. I have an Amd a-6 with a new ssd. I have the newest version on a bootable thumb drive. I boot te system. The system posts and I get a menu asking if I want to install or try without installing. No matter what I select the system starts running and my monitor loses signal. The hdd activity light flashes and the thumb drive flashes so te system is doing something but I don't have vid. This is surely a driver issue but I don't know how to fix it when I can't even get it running. Any advice? And please bear in mind I have never used this os before.
