SOLVED

After I start apache2 I don't expect it to stop even after a reboot but it does

~$ uname -a

Linux freds-server 3.2.0-26-generic-pae #41-Ubuntu SMP Thu Jun 14 16:45:14 UTC 2012 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

~$ sudo chkconfig --list | grep apache

apache2 0:off 1:off 2:on 3:on 4:on 5:on 6:off

:~$ who -r
run-level 2 2012-07-02 06:02

$ sudo service apache2 status
Apache2 is NOT running.

$ sudo service apache2 start
* Starting web server apache2 [ OK ]

what should i check to see the apache2 startup?
