Universe Repository timing out

Been installing Kubuntu on several computers the last week or so, and been having problems getting the package list from the Universe repository. Up until today, it's just been EXTREMELY slow, but did eventually finish. Now it's completely timing out on me. It's not my connection because I've been having the problem from several different locations. It usually gets to about 50-60% each time, then just stops. Are there alternative repository URLs for Universe that I can use? Any idea what's going on with the repositories?
Here's my sources.list and the result of my last apt-get update attempt.

Alright... i've managed to find several mirrors but now they're all doing the same thing on the universe repository. They'll download normally all the way to 55%-65% then just hang and time out. Any idea what's causing this?
