I use reiserfs for years, I'm considering moving to xfs in my hd of 1.5TB ( my cpu is a sempron ) but I heard, that in case of power failure he has problems. I have a mix of lots of small pdf files and lots files larger than 250MB. Which is the most safest file system for linux ? What is your suggestion ... thanks!;)

A lot of run-time means a lot of possibilities to find and fix bugs. So the previous and present default file systems for the main linux distros are good candidates: ext3 and ext4.
