Hi!,
I had first installed Ubuntu 12.04 using wubi inside Windows 7 (without encrypting home folder I believe)
When I use to search for files in Unity, it use to show results, even from the windows partition! (to my amazement)
Then, I reformatted and installed Ubuntu 12.04 duel boot with Windows 7 (HP) with encrypted home folder.
Now, when I search for a file, it shows nothing - even if the file is in my Ubuntu home folder. Otherwise, app/song searches etc are working.
Also, once I open a file in Nautilus, it shows up in search. But earlier(in wubi), even unvisited and unopened files were showing up in searches. I want this kind of behavior again. Please help. :confused:
Does it have anything to do with encrypting my home folder?
