Window frame missing

i know its an old post but i have the same problem in 12.04 and unity

when i do


gtk-window-decorator --replace

it comes back but i tried to place a bug in launcpad doing

ubuntu-bug gtk-window-decorator --replace

apport replys that there is no gtk-window creator

some ideas??
