I upgraded to 12.04

When I connect my 32" TV via VGA cable, It will detected as SONY 72" and resolution will be set to 1024x768

TV's native resolution is 1360x768. If I boot to windows xp , then reso will be set correctly to 1360x768

If I under linux change secondary display resolution to 1360x768, TV's scree will be rotated to vertical...

I also updated intel graphics to latest..

This what exactly happens to me

there is a reported bug here https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+question/192380

i tried to fix it manually using xrandr but when i set the correct size/mode and rotation i see only white screen, only the task-bar does appear and if i clicked an item on the task-bar it refreshes very heavily , then i had to unplug the BraviaTV to get the screen restored.
