eclipse pydev import error on pynotify

Hello all,

somehow, Eclipse wont import pynotify (python bindings of libnotify) but pynotify is installed and working (i know because the examples they give you with the Docs works and display the notify on screen )

Any other imports of python i've tried in eclipse wont give error. What i'm doing wrong? i've correctly configured pydev, even manually addedd the pythonpath with pynotify, but no luck.

update: the problem is on ubuntu 11.10 , on 12.04 all works good. i'm going to upgrade the 11.10 machine and see if it resolves itself

resolved by upgrading to 12.04
