Upgraded to unbuntu 12.04 and now the
touchpad hangs or freezes after clicking unity icons (onces a day or 2).
I have a lot of firefox windows and it seems to hang when changing to
a different firefox window.
This is a dell studio 1557.
Sometimes putting in a usb mouse allows me to continue.
Usually I have to pull the battery and unplug the power since the system
is frozen. CTRL-ALT-DEL does not shutdown either from this state.
I like Unity, even though it hangs every 2 days or so.
