backing up repositories to do a fresh install from oneiric to pangolin

im currently updaing ubuntu right now and i was wonderin if i would be able to back up the system repositories with aptocd(sorry forgot name of the app) and upgrade both ubuntu and the repositories with the same app.

I don´t think so.With aptoncd you will backup your packages,but to change source list you have to edit it.If you want to save old source list you can post it to yourself ( I believe you have gmail or yahoo account).

ok so i should just do a fresh install of 12.04 then?

this thread can be closed i just went ahead and upgraded from oneiric to pangolin.
