Hi everybody. Xfce/xfwm4 is running a little slower than I'd like on my machine (an old netbook) so I was thinking about installing openbox with tint2 as my panel. I've done a bit of reading and I've made a list of all the packages I have to download and install, but I'm not too sure about what to do after that.

Questions:

1) Will installing openbox create an entry in the login menu, giving it its own session? if not, how do I create one?

2) Once I have an openbox session, how do I set what file manager(might try out pcmanfm to see if it's faster than thunar)/panel(thunar, as previously mentioned/terminal/etc it uses by default?

3) Will any problems come up because I'm not using the default session?

Thanks in advance. :)
