I ran wubi.exe on Windows, and I got the the attached dialogue box. When it asks for "Desktop environment," are you choosing which OS to install or are you really installing ubuntu with the same programs but just a different style? For example, if "Kubuntu" is chosen, will it install Kubuntu? Or will it install Ubuntu (and all the normal basic programs associated with it) but with KDE instead of Gnome?
