Is there any Format Factory alternative for Ubuntu?
Format Factory is a software, which allowed us to:
* Convert all video file to 3GP, FLV, MP4, and etc.
* Convert all sound file to MP3, AAC, WMA, and etc.
Beside that, the software allowed us to cut, crop, and etc.

Please help ...
Thank you

As long as you're using version 2. Version 1 does not work. See the WineHQ page below:

Currently, I used Format Factory 2.95 ... I think this is the new one, right?

To me (For my lappie, at least), for the following applications:
* iTunes ... regardless 7.xx, 8.xx, 9.xx
* Format Factory ... 2.70 and 2.95
Mostly is a GARBAGE.
Why? Cos if not an ERROR messages was show-up, is the application is stucked (unable to work/closed) ... so it forced me to re-boot the lappie.
Currently the application, which run smoothly is Foobar2000.
Maybe this problem was occured to my Ubuntu is not right or my Wine is not right.

Ubuntu = Ubuntu 12.04
Wine = Wine 1.4

Currently, in my Ubuntu there is:
AVIdemux ... used to join 2 AVI files
Handbrake ... used to convert an AVI to MKV.
I need a software to cut the file.
Please recommend one for me ....
