Ever since I began running Ubuntu my keyboard and mouse occassionally stop working. It isn't something stupid like dying batteries, it's not wireless interference because the keyboard is wired, although the mouse is wireless. If it were a driver problem I'd guess that neither peripheral would work at all rather than just refusing to work every so often.
Both the keyboard and mouse resume normal function upon reboot. If the keyboard fails while I have a key pressed it continues to press that key in perpetuity until I reboot the computer.
Any ideas?
ETA: I suppose its worth adding that they have never failed at the same time.
