Hi there,
For years I'm a happy ubuntu user. At the moment I'm using ubuntu 12.04LTS.
My graphics card is an asus 210 silent.
I connected a second monitor.
The card has one dvi connection and one vga connection.
Settings in NVIDIA xserver: twinview, monitor1 position=absolute +0+0, monitor2 position absolute +1280,0
Now my screen area is 2560x1024 and I'm able to drag windows from one to another display. (can't find out how to remove the launchbar on the left side from my second screen, this is a waiste of space)
When starting a windows program in wine (editplus, worked perfect when using 1 display) it seems the display output is not shown (or in an invisible area).
I spend hours in changing settings in nVidia X Server settings, but I can't figure out how to resolve my problem.
Please help.
