View Full Version : [SOLVED] Restarting with multiple users logged-on

I recently switched my parents' computer from windows xp to ubuntu.

I made 3 user accounts:
me(administrator)
mom(standard user)
dad(standard user)

I keep my account logged in so that I can VNC over SSH when necessary.

However, if my parents ever want or need to reboot the computer, they can't. From their username, if they click Restart Computer, it just goes to the login screen.

if, from the login screen, one tries to restart the computer, it just stays at the login screen.

How can I make it so that he computer will restart on demand even if other users (admins or not) are logged on?

Thanks!!!! Love you people!!!
