Unity idle timeout too soon

I just installed ubuntu 12.04
The idle timeout is too soon. How do I increase this?

In the top right corner, should be a cog in the top panel, click on it and select the first entry, system setting, then select the brightness and lock icon, this will allow you to change your screen locking settings.
