I can't find a way to change the Window's border color, like I could with Gnome 2.

In Gnome2 you could customise a theme by selecting either Colors (as well as Controls, Colors, Window Border, Icons). Then under Colors-> "Selected Items", you could change the color for "selected items", which changed the Window's border color (of the active theme).

There doesn't seem to be a way to do this using gnome-tweak-tool? I have installed the Clearwaita (http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php?content=145210) theme, and now I would like to change the Window's border color. Looks like I can't?

Hi,

Because Unity is still new this feature is still not implemented. They need time to do it. But for the moment you can chose only different types of themes. I do the following I use Ubuntu- Tweak- Tools http://ubuntu-tweak.com/ (http://ubuntu-tweak.com/)
to select one theme for the windows and different for the desktop this is how I can make some contrast. But this is for the moment. We wait until new things come :)

cheers

According to Tutorial for making GTK3 themes (http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?p=1587376) the colors are in gtk.css

You can use gsettings. See: http://askubuntu.com/questions/85786/how-do-i-change-the-colors-of-the-ambiance-radiance-themes.

After setting the Clearlooks-Phenix theme using gnome-tweakt00l,
I overrode the default window border color and the background (of the interior of a window) like this:

gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface gtk-color-scheme selected_bg_color:#5598D7;selected_fg_color:#EDE9E 3"
