Hello,

I upgraded to linux kernel 3.4.3 earlier today, and now my AMD drivers are acting a little funny.

When trying to install using jockey-gtk, I get the following error(s) in the /var/log/jockey.log:

2012-06-19 23:45:31,172 DEBUG: XorgDriverHandler(%s, %s).enabled(): No X.org driver set, not checking
2012-06-19 23:45:31,404 WARNING: modinfo for module fglrx failed: ERROR: modinfo: could not find module fglrx

2012-06-19 23:45:31,404 WARNING: /sys/module/fglrx/drivers does not exist, cannot rebind fglrx driver
2012-06-19 23:45:31,404 ERROR: XorgDriverHandler.enable(): package or module not installed, aborting
2012-06-19 23:45:44,129 DEBUG: fglrx.enabled(fglrx): target_alt /usr/lib/fglrx/ld.so.conf current_alt /usr/lib/fglrx/ld.so.conf other target alt /usr/lib/fglrx/alt_ld.so.conf other current alt /usr/lib/fglrx/alt_ld.so.conf

When trying to install using manual method (found here (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BinaryDriverHowto/ATI)), I get the following output:

After both methods, amdcccle is installed, and I can run it just fine. I also have a dual-screen configuration that is configured correctly. However, I cannot enable any compiz effects, and running fglrxinfo in the terminal returns:

X Error of failed request: BadRequest (invalid request code or no such operation)
Major opcode of failed request: 138 (ATIFGLEXTENSION)
Minor opcode of failed request: 66 ()
Serial number of failed request: 13
Current serial number in output stream: 13

The line in bold (2nd code block) is obviously the problem; the kernel is not supported. Is there anything that I can do about that, or do I have to wait for AMD to release an update (since they are propietary/closed-source drivers)?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance
