Drop Shadows: Possible to exceed 18 pixels?

Is it possible to exceed an 18 pixels radius on drop shadows in Unity under Ubuntu 12.04?

Even if I specify it manually in the Metacity theme, or CCSM, it never goes above 18 pixels.

Hey could you figure out the way to increase drop shadow beyond 18?

I read at places that now it is through theme xml files only

I also wanted to increase the shadow as much as that of Mac, which has deeper shadow. Value around 48 would help
