Is there a way to combine compiz shortcuts with text input??

I'd like to toggle the water effect animation from compiz with the keyboard shortcut "Ctrl + C " so that each time I copy something with "Ctrl + C", the water drop effect will appear and get the copy command at the same time. That would be so cool.
Could anyone tell me if there is a way to do that??
