Calling all lovers of Notataional Velocity, the open source note taking software for OSX.
A version of NV is now available for Linux. You can find the download links and instructions here:

Works perfectly for me in Xubuntu 2012!
Syncs with SimpleNote, and includes many features of Notational Velocity and fork projects nvALT and Resoph Notes.
