Ok so here is my situation. My laptop,MSI CX620MX has a broken internal HDD so i used a other windows 7 to download ubuntu 12.04 to my usb HDD. no problem, extracted it and all. This very moment i'm using my laptop ( ubuntu 12.04 running from USB HDD) to write this msg so it works fine atm. But if i now shut it down,i need to install it again for 1 h 30 minutes. the program on my desktop is Install ubuntu 12.04 so i figured i needed to install it (duh). i tried, but it stops at theHAVE AT LEAST 4.4GB
IS PLUGGED IN
INTERNET CONNECTION

( all are OK.)
screen where you press continue (to start the install)
it just freezes.

A huge uber mega thanks in advance.
