My attempts to open an MS Access database in LibreOffice Base, using the 'open an existing database' option fails; I am automatically told to use 'connect to an existing database', but there is no option to connect to an mdb/MS Acccess type of database.
The help files says: "To connect to a Microsoft Access database on Windows, use the ADO or Access database interface, rather than ODBC." OK,except for one minor but important point: I not on Windows
Does this mean that LibreOffice can't open an MS access db under Linux?
