My update manager sends me periodically messages that updates are available for my computer, but for the last five or six times, not all of them were successfully installed. My schedule has been busy and this is why I get to ask the question just now.

The error message that popped up stated that not all of the updates have not been implemented.

These are the details of the message inside the error window:

E: linux-image-2.6.32-35-generic: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 127
E: linux-image-2.6.32-37-generic: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 127

Please, help me understand how to fix this problem. Keep in mind that my knowledge is very limited.

I am using Ubuntu 10.04 LTS on an older Gateway laptop.

Thanks in advance.
