Trying in install ubuntu 12.04 from usb. I successfully installed xubuntu, but wireless drivers don't show up and I couldn't make the everything bigger easily. When I try to boot from the usb, I get a message saying I have the incorrect kernel. I torrented the 386 image, the computer is a Dell d800 with a Pentium M.

Any ideas? I will post the actual message when I get a chance to try again.
