Hello, hopefully this is the right place. I am trying to bless my MacBookPro 5,3 (Unibody/Core2Duo/Nvidia 9400M+Nvidia 9600M GT) with Ubuntu 12.04 (already got refit running), but everytime i select Try Ubuntu without installing, it will lockup and always give me the same coloured graphical artifacts all over the screen. Whether i use a CD-ROM or a USB Stick, it does not change a thing.

Is there anything else that can be done or am i stuck for now? Thanks!

PS: Also once i ended up in a boot menu for ubuntu (by selecting the penguin here on the far right http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/138/p6080961.jpg/) where it said welcome to ubuntu and then you could choose diffrent entries with f1-f9 (although it did not respond these keys) or press enter to boot, which i did and waited 15mins for naught.
