Partition query

Hi,
Just installing the latest release on my Acer Aspire 1.

Having trouble getting past the partitioning section.
It offers me 2 partitions, 11Gb and 4.4Gb

I'm of a mind to leave this alone but the installer keeps on telling me that I have to adjust the partitions......to what, and why?

11Gb on left. 4Gb on right.

It might be best to post a screenshot of your partition table using gparted, before any advise is offered.

Also, do you plan to run ubuntu only? Otherwise that hdd (I assume it's actually SSD) is not very big. It can barely fit ubuntu only.

If you use the manual install you can select the partition sizes yourself. In any case, be careful what you do if you have data on the disk you want to keep.

I think it's OK now.
Problem was caused by there being a SD card in one of the slots.
