Hi there,

I have a problem. I need a version of the gcc resectively g++ compiler >= 4.5. Therefore I tried to install gcc-4.6. It took me a while, but now I have gcc-4.6 and g++-4.6 on my Ubuntu 10.04 system installed. However I had to remove gcc itself - it depends on gcc-4.4 (as far as I see). The problem seems to be, that Netbeans (for example) looks for gcc and not for gcc-4.6 (in my case). How can I solve this problem? (Hope I described as detailed as possible)

regards,
