Enough talking about UEFI, let's talk about UEFA. Or more precisely the tournament they are hosting from tomorrow on with the opening match between Poland and Greece.

What are your expectations? Who will reach the quarter finals? This is my prediction for the group phase (It's likely that I'm totally wrong :P).

A
1. Russia
2. Poland
3. Greece
4. Czech Republic

B
1. Germany
2. Netherlands *
3. Portugal
4. Denmark

C
1. Spain
2. Italy
3. Croatia
4. Ireland

D
1. England
2. Sweden
3. Ukraine
4. France

* should win tournament ;)

Hmm, I can't see France going out at the early stages and personally believe England will struggle to get through the group stages. (based on their dismal performance against Belgium last week)

Maybe I should swap France and Ukraine but it's all very close. That's by far the hardest group to predict for me. England may benefit from the underdog position and don't forget that in the 3rd group match Rooney is entitled to play again AFAIK.

As an American I don't really care who wins but just want to watch some entertaing soccer. I kind of hope Poland does well

Breaking news, The Chief Executive of the English FA has told new England Manager Roy Hodgson, to remember "We haven't got Wayne for the first two matches. Roy replied "Don't bother me with the weather, I've got a football team to run.":lolflag::lolflag::lolflag:

(this'll be lost on our American friends)

Spain ftw but their whole side is highly fatigued with their Barca players having played excessive football, Puyol is out, Xavi has niggles, Villa is out, Torres is a big gamble and so on and so forth.

You can say something similar for most teams. Only Germany seems to be in real good shape with Schweinsteiger returning. Their latest friendlies were bad but so were those of The Netherlands (especially against Bulgaria, one match to quickly forget), Portugal and Denmark. Russia also appears to be in good form.

And a late :lolflag:@ Rooney joke

Very impressed by Russia's performance against Czech Republic yesterday. Great start of the tournament and makes predicting the champion even harder. Russia is a serious contender. Poland also played well but failed to take profit from the Greek red card.

The England football team , visited an orphanage in Poland today. "It's heartbreaking to see their sad little faces, with no hope." said Igor, aged 6. :lolflag::lolflag::lolflag::lolflag:

As a Portuguese living in Poland, I do wish both Poland and Portugal do well. It does make me sad to see people condemning my country to a mere 3rd place. I think we have as much chances as any of the other countries in the group. The match will be soon, so let´s see what happens.

I'm not good in drawing or painting, but this comic idea was in my head for years.

I dedicate this comic to our English friends. Greetings from Germany!

Well, I have to say that after 90 minute Denmark was the justified winner. Was afraid of underestimation all the time. On the bright side Denmark should be able to give Portugal and Germany a hard time too.
